MARYLAND STING FASTPITCH TRAVEL SOFTBALL
We field teams each year at the 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u & 18u levels in both the Fall and Summer seasons.
Our teams practice almost year-round to prepare themselves to compete in regional and national travel events. Our coaches and program leaders work hard to ensure that our teams are well prepared to compete vigorously at all levels of competition.
We expect our players to work hard not just on the field but off the field as well including with their academics. In addition to teaching the game of softball, our coaching staff also focuses on instilling qualities such as good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
Our teams regularly travel throughout Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware and sometimes farther to compete in events to test their skills and broaden exposure for our athletes. We may travel farther depending on the opportunity to challenge our athletes.
For 2023 we expect that our teams will compete in State and National Championship tournaments in Maryland and Virginia.
We also host a number of tournaments at our home, Mayeski Park. Currently we have 6 tournaments scheduled for this summer on our home fields.
